HTC officially announces Desire 616



High Tech Computer Corporation or HTCs new smartphone is here from their existing Desire line-up of affordable Android running smartphones, named as Desire 616. The handset you see from the above and below official Press shots have already made it to the web, back in March, where we first saw the phone leak in renders of the certification filing of Chinas certification process, TENAA alongside the rumored list of internals and then came in several real life hands-on photographs of the talked about smartphone.

The newly announced phone is made out of polycarbonate chassis painted with glossy tints, which will join other budget friendly Desire smartphones from the Taiwanese company and will be available in White and Grey color options, surprisingly not listed in Red shade as seen before. The phone will be initially made available in China, followed by other Asian countries and Russia, where there wont be any meaning in hoping for the smartphone to come to United States.

HTCs new Desire 616 will come out of the box with a Octa-Core MediaTek processor, with clock speed of 1.4GHz, five-inches High Definition screen of 1280 x 720 resolution display, four gigabytes of internal mass storage (expandable via microSD card slot up to 32 GB), one gigabyte of Random Access Memory, eight megapixels primary camera with LED flash light and 1080p video capture capability, a two megapixels secondary front facing snapper, that can shoot videos at 720p. For connectivity, the phone will have Bluetooth 4.0, dual-SIM (regular SIM + microSIM card slot) over 3G UMTS and HSPA network support, a 2,000mAh powered battery and runs Androids version 4.2 Jelly Bean with Sense User Interface on top.

The new Desire 616 phone will feature One 2014 (M8) like on-screen navigation buttons and other HTCs software features like BlinkFeed homescreen and more. The device measures about 142 x 71.9 x 9.15 millimeters in dimensions and weighs around 150 grams on mass.

LG announces Volt for Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile in United States



LG has announced a new smartphone, dubbed as the Volt to the Statesides two Sprint Corporation subsidiary prepaid carriers, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile. The new handset from the South Korean consumer electronics manufacturer is just a renamed model, which is already available to the public, named as LG L90, that was announced back in February, alongside the L Series III set of Android powered KitKat smartphones.

The phone will be available in Black color option for the Boost Mobile customers and in White for Virgin Mobile purchasers. Accordingly, the newly introduced LG Volt will be the carriers first ever smartphone to debut their Sprints Spark facility on board, which is the next generation enhanced 4G LTE support. You can now grab the phone from both the prepaid carriers at 179 United States Dollars.

Samsung announces Ace Style new affordable Galaxy handset



And there you go, the big South Korean electronics manufacturer has announced their new Android running smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Ace Style. The new phone will come to the budget friendly markets with affordable price tag, middle ranged internal specifications, enhanced camera and advanced functions aiming young social consumers around the world. The phone is said to be "Fun, expressive and easy-to-use smartphone designed for social users," featuring a new whole body design and weighs really light in hands.

Alcatel announces One Touch Idol 2 and Idol 2 Mini



The French and Chinese based smartphone manufacturer, Alcatel has introduced and updated their current Idol line-up with two new Android smartphone from the new Idol Series 2, named Alcatel One Touch Idol 2 (from the above picture) and One Touch Idol 2 Mini.

We have a limited list of specifications to share with you, at the moment. The new companys new middle-end smartphone, the One Touch Idol 2 has got a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, five-inches IPS screen of 720 pixels resolution display, eight megapixels primary camera with LED flash light, 1.3 megapixels secondary camera on the front, Near Field Communication (NFC), 3G and 4G LTE Cat4 connectivity supports on board and running Androids version 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box, upgradeable to 4.4 KitKat in future. The 3G version of the handset costs about 274 USD, while the One Touch Idol 2 S with 4G networks goes up to $342.

Next up is the Alcatel One Touch Idol 2 Mini, sporting the same 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor, 4.5-inches qHD screen, eight megapixels primary shooter accompanied with a two megapixels front facer, again the same NFC, 3G and 4G LTE connections, with Androids version 4.3 Jelly Bean that can be upgradeable to 4.4 KitKat. InFocus announces the M810



InFocus, the United States electronics manufacturer has added and released a new phablet named M810 out in Taiwan. The device will hit the Taiwanese market store shelves by today. The device will be available in other markets with association Hon Hai Precision Industry Co.

InFocus M810 will pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset clocked at 2.5GHz processor, 5.5 IPSscreen with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 display, 16GB internal memory (expandable via microSD card slot), two gigabytes of Random Access Memory, 13 megapixels primary camera and 5 megapixels of front-facing camera, 2,600mAh powered battery and runs Android version 4.4.2 KitKat. OnePlus officially announces One 2014 Flagship Killer and Never Settle CyanogenMod phone



Today morning, OnePlus had an event scheduled at their homeland, where we have the phone from the rumor and leaks mill officially unveiled and announced. OnePlus being a start-up company from China, known for producing smartphones, that was founded on 17th of December, 2013 has their first and latest smartphone and the companys 2014 flagship, the OnePlus One introduced. The new phone from the Chinese people will run CyanogenMods custom ROM version 11S out of the box, which is based on Androids version 4.4 KitKat, also attributing a custom theme engine allowing users to customize the way it looks, where it is also read that the people from the company has been working with the CM team for a while to develop the new neat looking flat minimal User Interface and high-end internal specification.

Talking about the newly introduced smartphones design, the handsets is completely flat from its front and is build with the special material of magnesium, which brings down the OnePlus Ones weight to only 162 grams in total, making it the worlds lightest 5.5-inches smartphone. The Chinese firm also boasts about their speaker setup, where they quotes it to be the worlds first phone to feature bottom facing stereo speakers powered by American audio electronics company, JBL. There is no real branding or logo on the front screen, giving it the premium dark feel, with really narrow and thin bezels on either sides of the display, going beautifully curved and rounded on the four edges.

LG announces couple of new L Series 3G smartphones L Bello and L Fino



LG Electronics have announced two new smartphones in Seoul, South Korea, coming in from their previously announced L Series line-up of Android powered smartphones, dubbed as the brand new LG L Bello and L Fino. Sprint announces Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport



At Sprints Press Conference, in Chicago, United States this morning, the South Korean phone maker has announced a new iteration of Galaxy S5 smartphone with the Stateside telecommunication and wireless network provider, Sprint Corporation, named as the new Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport. Headlined as, "Stay on top of your game with a smartphone built for the athletic lifestyle".

The new handset is said to be for the dedicated athletes and sportsmen in town, with keeping fitness in mind. Let us remind you that, this is reportedly a different version of Samsung Galaxy S5 Active that was announced for AT&T, the past month. The new phone from Sprint and Samsung will come with IP67-certification rating on board to handle dust and water resistance during any kind of outdoor workout activity. The phone can explore up to one meter deep in water for 30 minutes of time.

In term of the hardware, Samsung seems to have tweaked their design of the Galaxy S5 Sport smartphone, making it almost as thicker as the Galaxy S5 Active, but in a different way, with a textured body, that will basically increase the grip when holding the handset. There is also the three hardware physical buttons on the front of the smartphone like the GS5 Active, that will be easier to navigate when used under water or at active conditions. Lenovo announces 4 Android Tablets A7 30 A7 50 A8 and A10

 Lenovo announced the launch of 4 new android tablets which are dubbed as A7-30, A7-50, A8, and A10 which are focusing on the multimedia. All of these 4 tablets will be released in the Q2 2014. Lenovo will be coming out with the 7 inches of Lcd size along with the 1024 x 600 resolution and also come with the Dolby front facing speakers. Lenovo has been very aggressive of late and comes with the new range which is comparable with all the tablets which are offered at various price points.

Lenovo A10 Android phone comes with the WIFI / WI FI + 3G phone along with the same choice of the processors as that of the one in A8. This tablet comes with the 2MP of front facing camera along with the 5MP of rear facing camera along with the battery of 6340mAH of battery. In terms of resolution, this device comes with the 1280 x 800p resolution and weighs 563 grams.




Lenovo A7-50 Android tablet comes with the ultra-portable design which is best suited for reading and also comes with the 7 inched HD Lcd for sharper web page and richer image experience. Along with the 8GB of internal memory, this device also comes with the 3G connectivity along with the front facing camera and Ebony color option.



Lenovo A7-30 Android tablet comes with the best audio experience in the 7 inched segment as it comeswith the Dolby enhanced dual front speakers. Along with the 7 inched brilliant display, this device also comes with the sim card support which means that you can also enjoy the voice calling facility. For music lovers, this tablet provides a sheer experience which is not currently offered by any of the tablets in this segment.

Pricing and Availability:
Lenovo will be coming out with the pricing of A7-50 from £99.99 ($166) in the UK, while the A8-50 price will start from £139.99 ($233) and A10-70 tablet from £169.99 ($283).
