Karbonn goes official with Titanium Hexa Octane and Octane Plus



The Indian manufacturer, Karbonn has announced three new Android smartphones named Titanium Hexa, Octane and Octane Plus in an event held in New Delhi, India. We have the details and the specifications of these devices.

The Karbonn Titanium Hexa will come out of the box with a MediaTek Hexa-Core chipset clocked at 1.5GHz processor, 5.5-inches screen with 1080p display, 16 gigabytes of internal memory (expandable via microSD card slot), two gigabytes of Random Access Memory, 13 megapixels of primary camera with LED flash, 2,050mAh powered battery and runs Androids version 4.4 KitKat over the hood. It supports Dual-Sim and for connectivity Bluetooth 4.0. The device dimensions are 154 x 76.8 x 6.9 mm. 

   

The Karbonn Octane will come out of the box with a MediaTek Octa-Core chipset clocked at 1.7GHz processor, 5-inches screen with 720p display, 16 gigabytes of internal memory (expandable via microSD card slot), a gigabyte of Random Access Memory, 13 megapixels of primary camera with LED flash and 5 megapixels of front-facing camera, 2,000mAh powered battery and runs Androids version 4.4 KitKat over the hood. It supports Dual-Sim and for connectivity Bluetooth 4.0. The device dimensions are 145.7 x 71.2 x 7.9 mm. 



The Karbonn Octane Plus  will come out of the box with a MediaTek Octa-Core chipset clocked at 1.7GHz processor, 5-inches screen with 720p display, 16 gigabytes of internal memory (expandable via microSD card slot), two gigabytes of Random Access Memory, 16 megapixels of primary camera with LED flash and 8 megapixels of front-facing camera, 2,000mAh powered battery and runs Androids version 4.4 KitKat over the hood. It supports Dual-Sim and for connectivity Bluetooth 4.0. The device dimensions are 147.3 x 72.6 x 7.6 mm.

The Karbonn Titanium Hexa costs $280, the Karbonn Octane costs $240 and the Karbonn Octane Plus $295.

Sonys upcoming flagship phone Xperia Z3 leaks in official Press renders ahead of announcement



Sonys 2014 International Franchise Association centered Press Conference will go live today, from the Sony Booth, Hall 20 Messe Berlin (Messedamm 22 14055, Berlin Germany), at 16;15 local time. The company is all anticipated to go forward and announce their new 2014 addition of front runner Android powered smartphone, allegedly named as the new Xperia Z3, which has already hit the web in a number of leaks and other reports earlier, along with the Japanese companys new Xperia Z3 tablet, Xperia Z3 Compact smartphone, a camera attachment accessory named as Sony Smart Shot QX1, that basically showed up earlier today, then the third generation wearable SmartWatch expected to be empowered by the late Android Wear operating system and the new fitness hinged SmartBand, as seen from the below picture.

The phone has also got stereo speakers with digital noise cancellation headphones support and embraces a IP55/IP58-certification over the hood to protect and resist from dust and water, 4G LTE network radios, Near Field Communication (NFC), a 3,100mAh powered battery with STAMINA mode with 2.0 day stamina, charging pin with magnet, running Androids 4.4 KitKat, and measures around 146.5 x 72.4 x 7.5 millimeters in its unit dimensions and weighs around 154 grams on mass.

Micromax goes official with Canvas Nitro A310




Micromax had announced yet another new affordable smartphone named Canvas Nitro A310 in an event held in Delhi, India. The device comes with scratch-free faux leather on the back and oleophobic coating on the display. It has dual-SIM capabilities and customizable smart gestures. The handset will be shipped exclusively from the Indian e-commerce website Snapdeal for a price of ₹ 12990, that makes around 213 United States Dollars. 

Micromax Canvas Nitro A310 spots with a MediaTek MT6592M SoC clocked at 1.7GHz True Octa-Core processor, Mali 450 Graphics Processing Unit , 5-inches IPS HD screen with the resolution of 1280 x 720 display, eight gigs of internal storage (expandable via microSD card slot up to 32GB), two gigabytes of Random Access Memory, 13 megapixels primary auto-focus camera with Sonys IMX135 CMOS sensor of f/2.2 aperture, capable of recording Full high Definition 1080p videos with LED flash light and five megapixels front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture, 22m wide angle lens with 75 degree of viewing angles, a 2,500mAh powered battery and runs Android version 4.4.2 KitKat on the board.

Lastly, for connectivity the Nitro A310 supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS, 3G network, FM-Radio and microUSB port. Nitro comes in two shades options, Pristine White and Mystic Blue. The phone can standby up to 320 hours with talk time of 10 hours.

Gionee will soon go official with the worlds slimmest smartphone Elife S5 1



We havent seen any official announcement from the Chinese based smartphone manufacturer, Gionee yet. But we surly know their plans to introduce yet another worlds slimmest smartphone, reportedly named Elife S5.1. Yeah, we do know they are currently holding the title for worlds thinnest smartphone, already. So, this time the company has broken their own previous record of having 5.55 millimeters thick phone on board by revealing the new Elife S5.1. The new phone dimensions are 139.8 x 64.7 x 5.15 mm in thickness. Theres no information regarding availability and pricing of the device, though. The Elife S5.1 is again almost similar to its predecessor handset, the previously announced Gionee Elife S5.5, made of both glass and metal construction.

According to the specifications revealed, the Elife S5.1 will pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC with clock speed of 1.2GHZ Cortex-A7 processor, 4.8-inches AMOLED screen with the resolution of 1280 x 720 display marked at 306 pixel-per-inch, 16 gigs of Read Only Memory, one gigabyte of Random Access Memory, eight megapixels primary camera with LED flash light and a five megapixels front-facing camera, 2,100mAh powered battery and runs the Androids 4.3 Jelly Bean with the companys own Amigo 2.0 User Interface on the board.

The device is rumored to hit the market shelves somewhere in this month, September, first in China, followed by India of course. Stay tuned with us for the official announcement of the new handset.

Vertu goes official with Signature Touch



Vertu Mobile has announced a new luxury smartphone named Signature Touch with high-end specifications. The device is made of Grade 5 titanium alloy, the back is made of of calfs skin and the screen is covered by sapphire glass.

The smartphone equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset clocked at 2.3GHz processor, 4.7-inches screen with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 display marked at 473 pixel per inch, 64 gigs of internal memory, two Random Access Memory, 13 megapixels primary camera by the Swedish manufacturer Hasselblad with dual-LED flash and 2.1 megapixels front-facing camera, 2,275 mAh powered battery and it runs Androids latest version 4.4 KitKat on the top.

The handset is available is five colors options and in eight product executions namely Jet Calf, Pure Jet, Pure Jet Red Gold Mixed Metals, Pure Alligator, Claret Calf, Seaspray Lizard, Damson Lizard and Pure Navy Lizard.

The audio speakers are by the Danish company named Bang & Olufsen which support Dolbys Digital Plus surround sound technology. For the connectivity options it supports Qi compatible Wireless charging, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, LTE connectivity, NFC. The dimensions of the device are 145 x 69 x 10.65 mm thick and weighs about 192 grams. The Vertu Signature Touch costs around United States Dollar 11,300. Vertu will start taking phone orders very soon.

China Mobile and Samsung goes official with Galaxy Beam 2



The South Korean electronics manufacturers Chinese department lists a new middle ranged phone to their official web domain, the successor and second generation model to their previously announced Galaxy Beam, this time the South Koreans renames their unit as the new Galaxy Beam 2.

Like its last generation handset, the new Galaxy Beam too packs in that dedicated "professional-grade" digital mini projector on its top, which is capable of screening WVGA resolution images to any flat surface, in a complete stylish metallic design body.

Other internal specification includes a Quad-Core 1.2GHz powered processor, 4.66-inches WVGA screen panel of 480 x 800 resolution display, microSD card slot for further mass memory expansion, one gigabyte of Random Access Memory (RAM), five megapixels main camera on the back with LED flash light, a VGA front facing snapper, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G connection support on Chinas TD-SCDMA network, a 2,600mAh powered battery and running Androids version 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. The newly announced Samsung made Galaxy Beam 2 is measured at 134.5 x 70 x 11.64 millimeters in dimensions and weighs 165 grams on mass.

As the branding on the phone suggests, it has already arrived on the countrys China Mobile 3G, but we doubt its global availability, anytime soon.
