Canon MP 237 Error Codes and How to Solve it



Error code Canon printers, Canon MP 240 MP 240 error if you experience it will be notified with an alarm LED blinking orange lights and displays an error code on the printer LCD computer monitor so that the Printer Canon MP 240 not able to print the data. Canon MP 240 Error code wont show up with a number like 1300, 4899, 5100 and causing printer Canon MP 240 not able to print the data. Canon MP 240 Error code is usually caused because the Paper Jammed, Printer is out of paper, The FINE cartridge cannot be recognized and much more.


The following Canon MP 240 Error Code and how to resolve errors with Error code Canon MP 240:

  • 1000 Canon MP 240 Error: the Printer is out of paper/paper does not feed, marked by blinking 2 x on a Canon MP 240 and to resolve it insert the paper into the rear tray then press the black/color on the Printer
  • Error 6000 Canon MP 240: Paper Jammed, marked by blinking 3x on Canon MP 240 and the fix take paper that concern on the printer.
  • Error 1693 Canon MP 240: The FINE Cartridge is not installed properly, marked 4 x blinking on Printer canon MP 240 and the fix, verify that the installation is correct and the cartridge the cartridge lock.
  • Error 1401, 1403, Canon MP 341 237: The FINE Cartridge is not installed properly, with blinking 5 x and the fix is to install the cartridge properly if it still happens replace the cartridge with a new one.
  • Error 1486, 1490 Canon MP 240: FINE Cartridge is not installed in the correct position, accompanied by blinking 7 x and the fix is to make sure the fitting is correct if the cartridge still occurs try to replace it with a new cartridge.
  • Error Canon MP 880 237: Ink absorber is almost full, accompanied blinking 8 x and the fix is to do a head cleaning on the printer Canon MP 240.
  • Error 1686 Canon MP 240: The remaining ink level cannot be detected, along with blinking 13x because the printer cannot detect the ink levels, press the stop/reset button for 5 seconds to ignore the error.
  • Error 1684 Canon MP 240: The FINE cartridge cannot be recognized, along with blinking 14 because the cartridge is not installed correctly or the cartridge is not compatible with the printer, replace the cartridge with a new one.
  • Error 1682 Canon MP 240: The FINE cartridge cannot be recognized, along with blinking 15 x and the fix is to replace it with a new cartridge because the old cartridge is damaged.
  • Error 1688 a Canon MP 240: The ink has run out, accompanied by a blinking 16 x and fixes press the button stop/reset for 5 seconds.
  • Error 5100 Canon MP 240: Paper Jammed accompanied blinking 2 x and fix clean paper comes on a printer.
  • Error B200 Canon MP 240: Blinking 10 x, turn off the Printer and then unplug the power cable connect to the electricity for a few minutes then plug it in and turn it on again.

Some code error on printer canon MP 240 4899, among others, 5012, 5200, 5400, 5700, 6800, 6801, 7000, 6930, 6931, 5B00, 6932, 6933, 6936, 6937, 6938, 6940, 6941, 6942, 6943, 6944, 6945, 6946 and the fix is to unplug the printer power cable connect to the electricity for a few minutes then turn it on again.

How To Reset Printer Canon IP 1980

 Printer Canon iP1980 need to reset in the event:
  1. Blink 4x 1x orange green. (specifically how to solve this blink click HERE)
  2. Green orange flashing alternately during 7x (Ink Absorber Full),
  3. Orange 8x ink tank full

The following steps IP1980 Reset:


  1. Driver must already be installed. If you do not have a driver click here.
  2. The printer must be in a state of service mode (temporary reset).

To activate the service mode:
           * Unplug the electrical power
           * Press the power (on the printer)
           * Plug the electrical power (light turns green)
           * While holding the power press the resume button (light turns orange)
           * Remove the two (the printer will die)
           * Press the power button again and immediately release. (light turns green) (do not disconnect power  electric)
3. Start the General Service Tool. If you do not have, download here.
4. Unplug the electric power, plug back in and turn (initial printer / wait until the non-blinking lights. Done
How to run the General Service Tool

 

   1. Exctrak files that you download
    2. Windows should be 1024x768 resolution
    3. Run the file "GeneralTool.exe"
    4. Select the USB Port
    5. Check Cleaning and EEPROM Clear
    6. Click Play
    7. Click Platen
    8. Done Quit
    9. Turn the printer off by pressing power.
Done, and then you just try to unplug the power cable printer and put it back, then turn your printer on.
