Samsung Galaxy Star Trios sports three SIM cards in one



Samsung has entered in line of manufacturing smartphone supporting up to three SIM cards on a single device, and with the South Koreans official announcement for a new Android powered handset, Galaxy Star Trios, in Brazil today.

The new phone is unveiled as a refresher model to their previously announced Samsung Galaxy Star S5280, where this time around too the new comer will bring along really low-end specifications from its internals.

So, the Samsung made Galaxy Star Trios will come out of its box with a Single-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor running at 1GHz, 3.14-inches QVGA screen of 240 x 320 resolution display, four gigabytes of internal mass memory option (expandable via microSD card slot), 512 megabytes Random Access Memory (RAM), two megapixels camera on the back, trio-SIM card slot with HSDPA network connectivity on board, 1,300mAh of battery juice and running Androids version 4.1 Jelly Bean over the hood.

Galaxy Star Trios is up for sales in both Black and White color options from Brazil at a price of 165 United States Dollars off-contract.

HTC M8 or The All New One is coming on AT Ts network



Another most talked about smartphone that is yet to be announced from the Taiwanese manufacturer, the internally codenamed M8 or unannounced, The All New One, is here in leaks again from Twitter, this time wearing the United States carriers branding on its back, as well as on the notification bar.

According to the most known leakster from the past, evleaks, the phone is reportedly coming to the Statesides carrier AT&Ts network soon after its official announcement this month, as HTC have scheduled a Press Conference in London, United Kingdom and New York, United States of America, the coming 25th of March, 2014.

As far as the new picture is concerned, the new leaked Press render aligns well with what we have been seeing previously, with its predecessor like aluminium finished body chassis, dual camera on the back with two-tone LED flash kind of setup, including HTCs own dual stereo BoomSound speakers and software on screen navigation buttons, from its front. Currently the handset is suggested to pack a Quad-Core Qualcomm based Snapdragon 800, 801 or 805 processor, clocked at 2.3GHz, 4.7-inches screen of 1080p resolution display, 2 gigabytes of RAM, two primary shooters with dual-tone LED flash light and a 5 megapixels (Ultrapixels) front facing camera, running Android platforms and Sense User Interfaces latest version over the hood.

Alcatel announces One Touch Idol 2 and Idol 2 Mini



The French and Chinese based smartphone manufacturer, Alcatel has introduced and updated their current Idol line-up with two new Android smartphone from the new Idol Series 2, named Alcatel One Touch Idol 2 (from the above picture) and One Touch Idol 2 Mini.

We have a limited list of specifications to share with you, at the moment. The new companys new middle-end smartphone, the One Touch Idol 2 has got a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, five-inches IPS screen of 720 pixels resolution display, eight megapixels primary camera with LED flash light, 1.3 megapixels secondary camera on the front, Near Field Communication (NFC), 3G and 4G LTE Cat4 connectivity supports on board and running Androids version 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box, upgradeable to 4.4 KitKat in future. The 3G version of the handset costs about 274 USD, while the One Touch Idol 2 S with 4G networks goes up to $342.

Next up is the Alcatel One Touch Idol 2 Mini, sporting the same 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor, 4.5-inches qHD screen, eight megapixels primary shooter accompanied with a two megapixels front facer, again the same NFC, 3G and 4G LTE connections, with Androids version 4.3 Jelly Bean that can be upgradeable to 4.4 KitKat. Both the new phones are about 7.3 millimeters thick on scale, where the 3G model of Idol 2 Mini is priced at 232 United States Dollars and 4G LTE version with the S branding will cost you $287.

OnePlus officially announces One 2014 Flagship Killer and Never Settle CyanogenMod phone



Today morning, OnePlus had an event scheduled at their homeland, where we have the phone from the rumor and leaks mill officially unveiled and announced. OnePlus being a start-up company from China, known for producing smartphones, that was founded on 17th of December, 2013 has their first and latest smartphone and the companys 2014 flagship, the OnePlus One introduced. The new phone from the Chinese people will run CyanogenMods custom ROM version 11S out of the box, which is based on Androids version 4.4 KitKat, also attributing a custom theme engine allowing users to customize the way it looks, where it is also read that the people from the company has been working with the CM team for a while to develop the new neat looking flat minimal User Interface and high-end internal specification.

Talking about the newly introduced smartphones design, the handsets is completely flat from its front and is build with the special material of magnesium, which brings down the OnePlus Ones weight to only 162 grams in total, making it the worlds lightest 5.5-inches smartphone. The Chinese firm also boasts about their speaker setup, where they quotes it to be the worlds first phone to feature bottom facing stereo speakers powered by American audio electronics company, JBL. There is no real branding or logo on the front screen, giving it the premium dark feel, with really narrow and thin bezels on either sides of the display, going beautifully curved and rounded on the four edges.

The One will rock a Quad-Core Qualcomm 8974AC powered Snapdragon 801 processor, speeding at 2.5GHz with Krait 400 cores, JDI made 5.5-inches Full High Definition screen of 1920 x 1080 resolution display, marked at 401 pixels-per-inches, 16 and 64 gigabytes of internal mass storage option, three gigabytes of LPDDR3 Random Access Memory (RAM), 13 megapixels main camera on the back made of Sonys second generation Exmor IMX214 sensor, with six lenses tech shooting at f/2.0 aperture, with shutter speed as quick as 0.3 seconds, a dedicated LED flash light, taking great shots at low light conditions, recording videos at 4K resolution pixels, a five megapixels front facing secondary camera, capturing videos at 1080p. From the connectivity department, there is Bluetooth 4.0 and fourth generation LTE network support as highlights, a 3,100mAh powered battery life and running CyanogenMod 11S custom ROM over the hood. Other new features include voice activation, smart gestures, and more.

The phone is measured at 152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 millimeters in dimensions, coming to the store shelves in Sandstone Black and Silk White color options. The phone will be widely available in countries starting from Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom to United States, soon. OnePluss Customer Service team is ready to serve its users in all launch countries. OnePlus One smartphone will also be available through company based personalized invite system. Currently the 16 GB Silk White OnePlus One is priced at 299 United States Dollars and 64 GB Sandstone Black model will cost you $349.

How to Set HTC One SV into Sleep Mode


Like any other device, setting HTC One SV into sleep mode will somehow save its battery life. Sleep mode puts your device into a lower power state while the display is off. It also prevents accidental button presses when its in your pocket or bag. Heres how you can set HTC One SV into sleep mode.

1. Briefly press on your devices Power button to turn off the display.  Then switch to Sleep Mode.

2. To change the time before your device sleeps, just go to Display, then gestures & buttons settings.

How to Factory Reset (Hard Reset) HTC One

Resetting your HTC One will restore the default settings of your device. It will also delete all your files on your phone, so it is recommended to have a backup of your important files on your computer. There are two ways on how to reset your HTC One. It can be done through the settings or through the hardware buttons.


Resetting HTC One on Settings:
  • Slide the Notifications panel open, and then tap the Gear Icon or Settings.
  • Select Backup & reset.
  • Tap Reset phone
  • If you want to delete all your files, then tap Erase all data.
  • Then tap OK to confirm.


Resetting HTC One by Hardware Buttons:

These steps is also helpful when your HTC One is unresponsive or frozen and theres no way to access the settings.

  • First, press and hold the Volume Down button, and then do the same way on the Power button.
  • Hold the two buttons until the three Android images appear on the Lcd. 
  • Release the button when the three Android images appear and press Volume Down.
  • Tap on Factory Reset, and then press the Power Button to confirm.


How to Import Contacts From Old Phone to New Phone (on iPhone, Samsung, HTC and Nokia)

Contacts is very important for everyone of us. We cant connect to our friends without a contact number. If you have a new phone, saving contacts on the phone one by one is so hassle. But now, theres an easy way how to transfer or import your contacts from your old phone to your new phone.

  • On your new Phone, tap "Install" to install PC Companion on the PC.
  • On your computer, if a pop-up window that appears notifies you about available PC Software, select Run Startme.exe.
  • Then click Install to start the installation and then follow the instructions to complete the installation.

Transferring your contacts to your new phone:

  • Make sure that PC Companion is installed on your PC.
  • Open the PC Companion application on your PC.
  • Then click Contacts Setup and follow the instructions to transfer your contacts.

  •  tap onand then audio if you want to add a voice recording or a music to the slide
  •  tap on Add Text to add a caption
  •  tap onto view options like replacingviewing or removing your attachment.
4. To preview your MMS slideshow, tap on   select Preview. If you dont see Preview, scroll down the menu. To view the playback controls, tap once the preview Lcd.
5. When its all set and done, press on or tap on Send to save message as a draft.

Now you can make someones day a very special one with this creative and personalize MMS.

- You can also choose which phone features to conserve the power. Just tap the Power saver notification first before you turn power saver mode on.

2. To turn the power saver mode on or off, tap the check button next to the Power saver notification.

• Turn down your device volume with the volume keys.

• Close any apps or features when you are done using it so they will not continuously running in the background.

• Turn off the network connection if you are out of range so that your device will stop searching for a network signal.

• You should use the latest version of the software update. Software updates improves some features and fixes some bugs on the previous software version.

• Turn off the camera flash.

• The camera viewfinder can be a power drain, so after youve finished taking photos.


How to Take Continuous Camera Shots on HTC One

Want to take photos continuously on your HTC One? You just need to set the settings and you can now capture the moment of the action. Every movement of the action counts, so take the photo continuously.

Follow these steps:

1. First, make sure that youre in Normal scene to use this feature.

2. On the Viewfinder Lcd, just press and hold on.

- It should take 20 consecutive shots since it is the default settings.

- If you want to capture more than 20 shots, just tap on the Gear Icon or Settings, then Continuous shooting. After that, clear the Limit to 20 frames option.

3. You can also select the photo that you like most by tapping Best shot. If you dont want the other photos, then you can delete it.

How to Setup Remote on HTC One/M7

In HTC One you can combine all of your remote controls into one. Now you can switch channels using your phone, adjust audio and all other functionalities of your home theater system remote controls. But before you set up the remote control, you need to set up first the EPG (electronic program guide) on your HTC One and make sure that your device is connected to an internet. To check on your battery history

1. On your homeLcd, slide the Notifications panel open.
2. Then tap.
3. Choose and tap on Power and go to History.
4. Now swipe left or right ( or spread or pinch your fingers) to scale the graph that details your battery usage over the time.


How to Clear Call History on HTC One

Either your call logs are just piling up or you simply want to achieve a clean call history list, then you can do the steps below. Heres how to delete or clear call history on your HTC One device.

To delete one name or number

1. On your devices Call History tab, press and hold the name or number you wish
to delete.

2. And tap Delete from call history.


To delete the entire call history list

1. On Call History tab, tapthen go to Remove call history.

2. On the Delete from call history Lcd, tap

3. Choose Select all and then tap Delete.



How to Hide Missed Calls and Messages on HTC One LockLcd

1. On your devices homeLcd, tapto go to the All apps view.

2. Now press and hold the app you want to be replaced and then drag it out
of the launch bar.

3. Then press and hold an app you frequently use and drag it to the empty slot
on your launch bar.


If you have couple of apps to place on your launch bar, you can group them into
a folder and place them in the launch bar. Heres how you can group apps into 
a folder.

1. On the All apps view of your device, press and hold an app and drag it over
to another app to automatically create a new folder for these apps.

2. To add more apps, press and hold an app and drag it to the folder.

3. Now drag the folder from the All apps view to the launch bar.

4. If you want to remove an app from a folder on the launch bar, you need to
switch first to the All apps view and then drag the app out of the folder.

Congratulations! You have just personalized your HTC One launch bar with your favorite apps.


How to Set up Speed Dialing on HTC One
