Samsung galaxy s3 mini being announced tomorrow 4 inch version to challenge iPhone

Samsung confirmed on Wednesday that it will launch the Galaxy S3 mini at an event planned to be held on Thursday. The new handset is expected to run Googles latest version of the Android operating system, Jelly Bean, with Samsungs TouchWiz interface.

According to J.K. Shin, the boss of Samsung Mobile Communications, the company will reveal a 4-inch Galaxy S III named Galaxy s3 mini. He also said that’s because “there is a demand of a 4-inch Galaxy S III in the European market”.  To some degree, the success of Apple’s Give them a hint.

Obviously, the S3 mini goes head-to-head with Apples market-leading iPhone, put pressure to Apple, the company which have dominance the US market.

Alcatel announces One Touch Idol 2 and Idol 2 Mini



The French and Chinese based smartphone manufacturer, Alcatel has introduced and updated their current Idol line-up with two new Android smartphone from the new Idol Series 2, named Alcatel One Touch Idol 2 (from the above picture) and One Touch Idol 2 Mini.

We have a limited list of specifications to share with you, at the moment. The new companys new middle-end smartphone, the One Touch Idol 2 has got a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, five-inches IPS screen of 720 pixels resolution display, eight megapixels primary camera with LED flash light, 1.3 megapixels secondary camera on the front, Near Field Communication (NFC), 3G and 4G LTE Cat4 connectivity supports on board and running Androids version 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box, upgradeable to 4.4 KitKat in future. The 3G version of the handset costs about 274 USD, while the One Touch Idol 2 S with 4G networks goes up to $342.

Next up is the Alcatel One Touch Idol 2 Mini, sporting the same 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor, 4.5-inches qHD screen, eight megapixels primary shooter accompanied with a two megapixels front facer, again the same NFC, 3G and 4G LTE connections, with Androids version 4.3 Jelly Bean that can be upgradeable to 4.4 KitKat. Both the new phones are about 7.3 millimeters thick on scale, where the 3G model of Idol 2 Mini is priced at 232 United States Dollars and 4G LTE version with the S branding will cost you $287.

BLU Products from United States of America announces another mid-ranger budget friendly Android powered smartphone, also the younger sibling of their previous flagship high-end model, Life Pure.

The new Life Pure Mini is said to be "Designed Beautifully, Inside and Out," where the unibody design of polycarbonate chassis is a combination of the latest computerized numerical control technology and each phone in box is hand-polished by talented craftsmen. The American company also uses CNC Technology in 67 different positions. The smartphone also attributes motion sensing control, gesture control, voice control and safety features on board.



So, the new phone from BLU products will come out of its box with a Quad-Core MediaTek MT6589T processor with Cortex-A7 chipset clocked at 1.5Ghz and a PowerVR SGX544 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), 4.5-inches High Definition IPS LCD screen of 1280 x 720 resolution display with OGS and scratch resistant touch panel, 16 gigabytes of internal mass memory, a gigabyte of Random Access Memory (RAM), eight megapixels primary camera with BSI sensor and LED flash light, capable of capturing 1080p video footages at 30 frames-per-second, a two megapixels front facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3rd generation HSPA+ network connectivity on board, a 3,000mAh powered battery and runs on Googles Android platform, version 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The complete unit will come in Black Matte and Polished White colors, measuring in about 130 x 64.4 x 8.9 millimeters in dimensions and weighs 149 grams in weight. The Life Pure Mini is up for grabs from online retailer around the Stateside for 249 United States Dollars, off-contract.
